The following comes from a June 23 SaveCalifornia.com press release:
Sacramento, California — A leading pro-family organization in California is appalled that more than a dozen Republican state legislators have voted against natural family values. On June 22, there were 15 Republicans who joined with the majority of Democrats in two houses of the California State Legislature to approve pro-“Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender” resolutions.
“Why are Republican legislators voting for the unnatural, unhealthy, and tyrannical ‘LGBT’ agenda that goes against the good of children and families?” asked Randy Thomasson, president of SaveCalifornia.com, which promotes moral virtues for the common good. “It’s expected that Democrats will vote against family values, but to see a raft of Republicans support the homosexual-bisexual-transsexual agenda is unheard of.”
Voting June 22 in favor of “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month” were 15 Republicans:
Voting “aye” on Senate Resolution 33: Anthony Cannella, Jeff Stone
Voting “aye” on House Resolution 24: Katcho Achadjian, Catharine Baker, Ling Ling Chang, Rocky Chávez, David Hadley, Young Kim, Tom Lackey, Eric Linder, Brian Maienschein, Devon Mathis, Chad Mayes, Marc Steinorth, Scott Wilk press release (all but Mathis also voted to become coauthors of HR 24)
“Do Republican legislators think pro-family voters will give them a pass for joining the Democrats in supporting the ‘LGBT’ agenda that’s aggressively eliminating religious freedom and free speech in our land?” Thomasson asked. “It’s completely hypocritical for someone like Assemblyman Chad Mayes of Yucca Valley, who calls himself a committed church-going Christian, to go against what God’s word says against gender and sex.”
“In California, the ‘LGBT’ agenda has done great damage to the people’s vote on marriage, children in public schools, people’s health, religious freedom, freedom of conscience, freedom of speech, and freedom of association,” Thomasson said. “The intolerant ”LGBT’ agenda should be opposed for the sake of liberty and love. What were these Republicans thinking when they voted against families and for sexual tyranny?”
Fear and Ignorance have helped ‘big happy’ to put a smiley face on their vicious intimidation tactics – but then we live in a One Party State in which Media Control is so Monopolized that even the Blackmail of a Sitting Governor (‘Der Arnold’s allegedly ‘secret’ extra Son) leading him to abandon the Citizens & Constitution on Marriage is a Non-Story, when the bought and paid for ‘free press’ says No.
The latest from the Old Singleton Propaganda Empire – now ‘Digital First Media’ is even more ominous for Free Speech / Information advocates, as the Censorship Pogrom seems headed for deeper depths on the media mushroom farm – where the ‘Vanilla’ (taxpaying voters) are kept in the dark and fed media.

Sharon Ryan, publisher of this newspaper and its sister Bay Area News Group publications, has been named to oversee all 31 daily and 40 weekly publications in California operated by Digital First Media.
Ronald Reagan once said that he did not leave the Democrat Party, that the Democrat Party had left him. Sad to say, I feel the same way about the Republican Party both at the state and at the national level.
One of the Republicans who voted for this is Sen. Jeff Stone, my senate representative. I voted for him when he ran last year. That will be the last time he gets any vote from me.

Have you Called His Staff to tell them this? Many politicos operate in a vacuum of donors and lobbyists, and hearing from the ‘little voters’ often shocks them. and a simple Letter to the Office from a real constituent can often be a wake up – particularly if more than one do so.
Democracy doesn’t happen by Inaction – That behavior feeds totalitarianism, which is kind of like ‘tolerance’, only not as harsh.
Im sick of these politicians.
What were they thinking? They were thinking of getting re-elected. A great tsunami is sweeping over the country, washing away any moral sense and changing people’s long-held views of right and wrong.
Since the legislature there has no problem spending money they don’t have, why not put a fence around the entire state? The rest of the United States need to be protected from California’s demented ideas and practices. Those with faith and morals need to pack up and leave – it may be contagious !!!
Supreme Court Justice Scalia is my hero. He is one of the few justices with any brains on the Supreme Court. As William Donahue of the Catholic League says some of the rest think we are monads.
Why are Republican legislators voting for the unnatural, unhealthy, and tyrannical ‘LGBT’ agenda that goes against the good of children and families?” Those who live in CA. need to be ready for more of the same. The Catholic Church’s position on marriage between same sex parties, though it be as stated in the Bible, is no longer the general norm in this country. With the SCOTUS ruling today, it is now the law of the land. The Church has been out-flanked on this issue. Nearly 90% of those under the age of 30 (the future of the Church) believe the Church is wrong, and is one of the primary reasons for young people not going to Mass on Sunday, if you believe the polls. After today, it is no longer an issue for discussion in the…
Well, CA is Satan’s playground, along with Washington, DC. You CA-people are getting what you deserve, as you elect this moral lepers to be your leaders, and dictate your policies.
Go to the ballot-boxes and undo what you have so consistently done over the past 40 years or so. And, while you are at it, withdraw your “automatic” donation money (except for a very few parishes) and tell the local bishops and pastors that you are going to dedicate your dollaros to Traditional Catholic choices.
It is so important to vote in the primary elections, so we aren’t left with these politicians who get elected. Remember who these people are and don’t vote for them next time. I am sending an email to Rocky Chavez, who represents my
district, to tell him what I think of his voting for HR 24, to promote the LGBT agenda.
Unfortunately politicians will do what is necessary to get elected or re-elected.
And California citizens have been teaching the politicians that they will vote for evil.
Not me. I did not even vote for governor last time as I felt both candidates were unfit for office. I do not even vote judges back in if I doubt they are decent.
There is not morals and values anylonger. God will have His way with our evil sick politicians. Hell is forever.
That’s correct Bruce. Hell is forever but this life is temporary. We pray for God’s holy justice soon. But in the meantime we pray for their conversion before its to late and more souls end up in hell. For hell is real. God save us.
As far as I’m concerned, their signatures to condone such sinfulness is a condemning signature for each Politician who signed up for such ungodly behavior! They are the ones who are held responsible for passing such laws of the land, a land that is suppose to be “UNDER GOD”!! Man is destroying it!! Read Romans Chapter 1 in the Bible. Jesus wishes all to go to heaven.
