The Media Coordinator will coordinate content for all media platforms (print (bulletin), digital, social, broadcast) under guidance and supervision of designated Parish staff. This will include working cooperatively with our Pastor, Principal, staff and ministries to design and develop messaging as needed. Responsibilities will include daily maintenance of social media and website, including appropriate responses to posts/comments, assistance with design, input and editing of content prior to publication/posting in print and electronic media, on-site photography of a variety of subjects, including day-to-day functions, special events, staff, ministries and more.
We are looking for someone willing to commit to an average of 20 hours per week. Hours are flexible. Presence on campus at least two days per week is necessary.
REQUIRED: Background working with print media, social media, website posting, electronic newsletters, blogs, mobile apps and other digital communications; keen photography eye; excellent verbal/written/computer skills; strong interpersonal skills and can work well with other people, especially with diverse communities; minimum 3 years' experience.
DESIRED: Prior experience working in a faith environment; familiarity with podcast and video production; practicing Catholic.
