The Diocese of Sacramento is seeking applicants to coordinate the Office of Catholic Charities and Social Concerns and act as an administrative assistant to the director of the office.
The Coordinator for the Office of Catholic Charities and Social Concerns provides administrative support to the director and supports the day-to-day operation of the office, handling multiple responsibilities, including coordinating the Mission Cooperative, Anti-Racism Task Group, Catholic Campaign for Human Development and Catholic Relief Services programs. This position also supports the legislative priorities of the bishop and the California Conference of Catholic Bishops. In addition, this position supports the office in promoting increased engagement of Catholics in these various ministries, working with agency directors to create opportunities for collaboration and service.
Applicants should be a practicing Catholics whose faith is an essential part of their daily life, and they should have a working knowledge of the local Catholic Church and Catholic Social Teachings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is essential; bilingual (Spanish) language fluency is preferred. We offer a competitive salary and full benefits package.
