Breast cancer charity rescinds Planned Parenthood decision

After three days of blistering attacks from Planned Parenthood and its allies, Susan G. Komen for the Cure announced today that it had reversed its decision to cut off funding to the abortion giant.

“We will continue to fund existing grants, including those of Planned Parenthood, and preserve their eligibility to apply for future grants,” the breast cancer charity said in a statement issued this morning.

I just finished commenting on a pro-life site to re-read the statement for Komens & I received the news from Fox stating that they will continue funding some of the grants. As soon as Obama puts his evil two-cents in, they will be back to “normal” once again. It doesn’t pay to jump the gun, does it? Boxer, Biden, etc. NEEDS our prayers to Our Blessed Mother, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, Mother Theresa & all of Saints, asking for their conversions & to replace their hearts of stone with hearts of flesh. +JMJ+

Luckily, although I wrote to them thanking them for defunding Planned Parenthood, I wisely did not send any money to them. The Plannedhood offices do not do breast screening in most or all cases as they say, but some offices refer to other organizations. If one wants to give for breast screening one can give the money to a lady for her decuctible if she is in need or give it to one’s local Catholic or other Hospital for that pupose or for their cancer ward. One needs to make sure that it will be used for that purpose alone and write it on your check memo.

I have never given to such organizations as United Way either, even though my past employer took up a collection for that purpose. I gave and give directly to the organizations where I want my money going. Why use a third party?

When one gets a form from one’s employer for such organizations as United Way, one is not obligated to give if chooses not to do so. If the employer insists that one puts one’s name on the form, one can write in that they only contribute directly to organizations to whom they give, then put a big cross through the rest.

Exucse me, please. I meant a big “X” through the rest, but a cross might be more appropriate considering what some organizations do with your money.

By the way, if a pro-lifer sent them a check, one can cancel it for a bank fee of course. If it was just an agreement, one does not have to send a check or the money since they broke their part of the bargain. There is a saying, “Fool me once, it is your fault. Fool me twice it is my fault.”

Wow! Isn’t the Susan B. Komen foundation the same group that just said it doesn’t bow to public pressure? Of course, that was just a way of saying they weren’t cutting off Planned Parenthood due to pressure from folks like us, who don’t believe that lower-case planned parenthood should include murdering their children, even when they show up at inconvenient times. Well, as one would have assumed, they are liars, a fact now easily proven. Even though I am a very recent breast cancer patient and perhaps survivor, I always have refused to contribute or partake in any way with the Susan B. Komen’s massive fund drives, and now you know why. Please join me in avoiding supporting in any way this already excessively overfunded foundation, which has its own set of moral values, few of which are in accord with Catholic values in any way. They are self-serving as well and do not need any more of our money. The best thing about all this is that the world has now discovered with whom this ultra-liberal foundation is cohabitating without benefit of general public knowledge.

We need to email, make calls and let them know how disappointed we are! This should tell people that they are not really for breast prevention or cure. I think it is all about politics and money, never about really finding the real cure! By now they would of found a cure. My sister who also studied and received credentials as a bio-chemist, she said that she didn’t like how some actually find cures but stop due to political pressures and drug companies prefer to get people hooked on their drugs for a longer time, then to actually find a cure!

JMJ, as far as I am concerned the Susan B. Komen Foundation has cried “Wolf” once too often. There is no way I would give any money to them.

Anne T you are discerning correctly. I have some facts about them that really tell me that they are not really for the cure, as they preach out to be. Giving your money to them is like throwing it away, give it to pro-life and even to smaller groups, that are really looking for the cure. You’de be surprised who is really out there needing support to get a cure out but the drug companies have a lot of power and usually shut down any one who tries to find real cures, lack of funding doesn’t help when they are trying to fight off the giants!

Another example of how careful we need to be when we donate money. Follow the money trail and see who really benefits. Sadly, more often than not, our well intentioned donations go to causes that are contrary to the Catholic faith.

This is ongoing spiritual warfare and today’s weak cave in from the Susan B. Komen Foundation should remind Catholics of the October, 13, 1884 Prophetic Vision of Pope Leo XIII…Pope Leo XII heard the guttural voice of Satan in his pride boast to Our Lord: “I can destroy your Church”…The gentle voice of Our Lord: “You can, then go ahead and do it”…Satan: “To do so, I need more time and more power”….Our Lord: How much time? How much power? Satan: 75 to 100 years, and a greater power of those who will give themselves over to my service. ” Look how Planned Parenthood, the Susan B. Komen Foundation, Catholics and Catholic clergy who knew very well, Obama’s pro abortion stance, yet still voted Obama into the devil’s power. That diabolical power is now crushing religious freedoms. Look how many have fallen into the devil’s trap and given themselves over to his service of aiding and abetting the devil’s greatest delight of the human sacrifice of the innocents. Evil ruled with this cave in. Shame on the Susan B. Komen Foundation. Partners in evil with Planned Parenthood. Pope Leo XIII knew that the Prayer to St. Michael was a powerful weapon against the devil. Let us pray that every bishop in the United States would reinstate the practice of saying the powerful prayer of St. Michael after each Mass.

I went to the Komen Foundation Web Site. If you click on “contact us” you can make your voice be heard. I suggest you do it now. Lets take action. They state on their Web Site that Planned Parenthood is not under criminal investigation and that the investigation is political. That is not true.

More breaking news on Planned Parenthood late this afternoon – lots to keep up with. At this rate, there will be a whole new story by Monday morning.

The money people work this just like they work stocks and commodities, by making the market value fluctuate, so as to jack up the money flow as much as possible.

I encourage all the readers to go to the “Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer” website. They are an excellent organization. They publish the studies showing the clear link of Abortion and Contraception to Breast Cancer. They have exposed Susan G. Komen’s continual coverup of these well established links to breast cancer. The site also shows you how the American Cancer Society has been covering up this knowledge as well. They have letters which you can give to your doctors who are purposefully being left in the dark as well..Yes, these groups who say they are dedicated to finding a cure are throwing women to the wolves after they pick their pockets for donations. Donations to PP or not, SGC foundation is pro-abortion and anti-woman!

The Komen ceo is paid over $500,000 per year and the workers average $77,000 per year.

JLS they are getting rich off of money that they could be using to find a cure, but we all know that they are not really about finding the Cure. Let’s not fool ourselves anymore. I think that Koman is actually more for the liberals to have a reason to be charitable in their own way, but never about the cure. Those big fat pay checks are taking advantage of desperate people’s money, I know that they should make a decent salary but wow that sure is a lot.
