The following comes from a late Oct. story in the Southern Cross, the San Diego diocese paper.

To better serve the needs of women in crisis pregnancies, a Catholic medical practice has relocated one of its two offices.

Culture of Life Family Services (COLFS) currently has offices in Mission Valley and North County. The North County office recently moved from its previous location on Grape Street in Escondido to its new home at 362 W. Mission Ave., Suite 105, also in Escondido.

Scott Maxwell, president and CEO of COLFS, told The Southern Cross that there were several reasons for the move.

COLFS’ new North County office measures about 3,800 square feet — a marked improvement over the approximately 2,000-square-foot building in which it previously had been housed. The new office boasts five examination rooms, an ultrasound suite, a larger waiting room and reception area, several offices for the doctors and staff, two counseling rooms, a kitchen and a chapel.

The office officially opened Aug. 30. On Sept. 11, more than 150 people attended an open house, during which Bishop Cirilo Flores blessed each room of the new building….
