TV star Austin Peck revealed that before becoming a traditional Catholic, “I realized I was a hedonist. I lived for pleasure,” but “truth led me to Christ, to the Catholic Church, [and] to the traditional form.”
In an interview with LifeSite’s John-Henry Westen the actor who over the years has been a regular fixture on As the World Turns and One Life to Live talked about what it’s like to have strong convictions concerning protecting the rights of the unborn and standing up to Covid tyranny in the very pro-abortion, Covid-fear-peddling environment of Hollywood.
“I don’t see it as controversial. I don’t think it’s controversial at all,” Peck told Westen. “I think it’s very simple. Life begins at conception. That’s just the way it is.”
Peck explained that the reason why none of his pro-abortion Hollywood neighbors want to debate when human life begins “is because science actually backs up life at a genetic level. So even if I were to have the conversation, just scientifically, they would lose. And that’s why the conversation never happens.”
“The only thing they have is name-calling ‘You’re a man. You’re a bigot.’”
“We’re evil for pointing it out. But that’s just demonic. It’s just a demonic tactic. It’s just a diabolical disorientation,” Peck went on to say.
“What is abortion but modern-day sacrifice to Molech or Ba’al?” asked Peck. “I mean, those demons still exist.”
The Hollywood actor talked about abuse by duplicitous politicians engaging in fearmongering regarding mask mandates, and how hard it is to dissuade others from their irrational fears.
“It goes back to what led me to Christ, which is truth. There’s nothing true about this. I have known a lot of people who have had it, I haven’t known anybody who has died from it. If this was a real pandemic, I would not only know a lot of people that would have had it, I would have known a lot of people that would have died from it.”
“Fear is such a great tool,” said Peck. “What they did is they created this boogeyman. When your kid is afraid of the boogeyman, you know there’s no boogeyman underneath the bed, but they’re convinced of it. So their fear is real, no matter how illogical it is. And if you have your kid who’s freaked out, you can show them under the bed, you can go into the closet, and still, they’re convinced” that there’s a boogeyman in their room.
Peck said that in Hollywood he’s surrounded by people that are “completely unreachable. It’s like the face masks are a security blanket, it’s like it’s a symbol, it has nothing to do with what it’s for. It has everything to do with adherence. It has everything to do with a symbol of adherence to an ideology.”
The actor has put his money where his mouth is. “I told my agent, ‘I’m not getting the vaccine.’ I had a conversation with him. I brought up abortion, I brought up everything. I said, ‘I’m not getting the vaccine and I’m not kissing a dude. Ain’t happening.’”
The above comes from an Oct. 8 story on LifeSiteNews.
YFC has a conniption fit.
Because we all know that once you get the vaccine you start kissing dudes. And abortion. “Nothing can be real if I haven’t seen it” is essentially how he disrespects 700,000 dead Americans.
All the while he promotes a culture of bed-hopping through his acting.
Being gentle here: The dude sounds quite confused.
“All the while he promotes a culture of bed-hopping through his acting.” Please provide an example of your imagined allegation.
Oh and there is this choice line from his Wikipedia entry: “In January 2011, it was announced that Peck would join the cast of One Life to Live as porn producer Rick Powers.”
Not everyone is gay and double vaxxed. He is trying, appreciate that.
yfc Wikipedia ? you demand credible sources , and you cite Wikipedia as a source for us to accept ? do some real research !.
YFC, your 10:51 comment calls to mind the cancel culture, which scours the past for dirt to defame and destroy. It does not seem that you are able to take his present convictions and appreciate them. If I am wrong, correct me.
If you are pro-life then you are pro-life! Getting the vaccine is pro-life! My niece died of Covid-19 at the age of 36 with NO PREEXISTING COMPLICATIONS! Her husband is raising 4 children by himself! Please be respectful of the families who have lost people!
Being pro-life means caring about the babies who were killed for vaccine research purposes as much as the 4 children you mention. All are equal in God’s eyes, and at least your relatives can know parental love. All the aborted babies knew was horrific prenatal death, the ultimate disrespect.
Mary, I respect your opinion, and I feel horrible about what happened to your niece. I will pray for her and her family. The “vaccine” may have saved her by reducing the severity of the symptoms. However, as we now know, it would not have necessarily prevented transmission from others who’d been infected, including people who’d already gotten the injection and were asymptomatic. We need to respect everyone’s choice in the matter. The mandate negates that sovereignty of the person. It doesn’t even allow an exemption survivors of Covid who now have better, natural immunity.
