Two couples arrived within a few minutes of each other right at 7:30,…
The 1st couple (early 30s) parked out front in a new pickup truck & stopped to allow me to give them a good brief for several minutes. Both were very friendly, took all the materials, didn’t share why they were there, said thanks & went in.

The 2nd couple (early 20’s) arrived in an Uber, jumped out. I tried to engage but they politely refused handouts & rushed in…Later in the morning, that couple came back out and started walking down the street. I then offered them materials again & noted the cross on the guys’ neck & asked if he’s a Christian, in which he said yes, …so I did a quick explanation of what we were doing out here & he said he was there just to get a test himself. So I asked him to take the materials with him & share, which he did.

Back to the 1st couple.
A regular prayer warrior had arrived as usual ~7:30 as well, and by 8:00 we were both standing out by the side of the driveway so we could observe through the glass front door entrance to see if customers might be entering through the back, (which some drive-ins were ).

Right about 8:05 the 1st couple came walking out the front and coincidentally the city meter maid (a guy) was making his rounds. He had parked up the street, walked back down to their truck & was taking pictures to write a parking ticket. Observing this, I hustled over to them as they were slowly walking down the ramp & pointed to the meter maid & said “hurry up hurry up he’s writing you a ticket.” (Apparently the husband hadn’t fed the meter when they parked).

The husband ran over to the meter maid to address the situation while the lady stopped in front of me and said in an Australian accent, “I decided not go through with this abortion because of the material you gave me.” I was stunned, to say the least.

So I asked, “So you were here to get an abortion then?” She said “Yes, I was praying about it, but when I looked over this material I made the decision not to go through with it.” I gave her a big hug and said “God bless you.” She smiled, said “You too, thank you” & walked back to their truck. They were there for less than 5 minutes talking to the meter maid guy, & they drove off.
