Michaelite Father Peter Prusakiewicz will visit the Church of the Nativity in Menlo Park at the end of September to lead a retreat on angels.
From Sept. 30 to Oct. 2, Father Prusakiewicz will offer a parish mission on the angels, archangels and guardian angels, discussing their role in the spiritual life and their connection to Divine Mercy. The mission will include Mass, daily talks, Confession, Holy Hours and veneration of a relic of St. Maria Faustina.
In 1996, the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy, the order of St. Maria Faustina Kowalska, asked him to travel around the world preaching about the Divine Mercy, sending him forth on a mission that has brought him to nearly every continent. Gonzalez said his explanations of the theology behind the Divine Mercy devotion and understanding of St. Maria Faustina’s writings have been inspirational in her faith.
