The following comes from a May 3 opinion piece written by Kimberly Guilfoyle, Fox news analyst and the first wife of pro-abortion Calif. lieutenant governor Gavin Newsom. Guilfoyle served as First Lady of San Francisco, when Newsom was mayor.
Says a veteran pro-lifer who watched the Fox broadcast mentioned by Guilfoyle:“You will be overwhelmed and fortified that finally a major TV outlet has told the truth in the most dramatic way possible. “

We can be judged in many ways. One measure of a civilization’s morality is how it treats those without power.
Pope John Paul II once said, “a society will be judged on the basis of how it treats its weakest members; and among the most vulnerable are surely the unborn and the dying.”
As I write these words 7 women and 5 men are deliberating the fate of a man accused of killing our country’s most weak and most vulnerable. The alleged crimes are horrific and difficult to imagine, but they must be shown to the world. We cannot turn away because a topic is unpleasant or vile. Why? Because one way to rid our society of evil is to confront it boldly.
I have seen and heard my share of evil, but the Gosnell trial has tested my faith in humanity.
The man standing in judgment is Dr. Kermit Gosnell. His trial, in Philadelphia, went to the jury this week. The charges being considered number in the hundreds, but it is the four first-degree murder charges and a single third-degree murder charge that have left me bewildered and saddened.
Dr. Gosnell ran what became known as the “House of Horror.” An abortion clinic where he is accused of killing 3 babies, born alive, during late-term abortions. He faces the third-degree murder charge for the killing of 41-year-old Karnamaya Monga.
Many of you may not have heard about this case. It has the dubious distinction of being one crime story the mainstream media isn’t all over. It is an “abortion story,” the one topic that defies the media’s “if it bleeds, it leads” mantra.
Whether it is the gruesome details of how these children were allegedly killed or that the case involves the politically inconvenient topic the courtroom seats reserved for the media went largely unused.
I have sat in those seats and witnessed court testimony so heartbreaking and abhorrent that it could easily be mistaken for the most horrible of fictions.
Sadly, as a seasoned prosecutor, I know what dark acts people are capable of. I have seen and heard my share of evil, but this trial has tested my faith in humanity. It has been eye-opening and life changing.
Tonight at 9 p.m. ET on the Fox News Channel we are airing a Fox News Reporting investigation on these crimes. I participated in our special investigation. It will not be easy to watch. It will bring many to tears and fill others with anger. However difficult it may be I urge you to watch. Information is power; it is the light that will “shine through the darkness.”
Watch “Fox News Reporting: See No Evil – The Kermit Gosnell Case,” Friday, May 3 at 9 p.m. ET on Fox News Channel.
Kimberly Guilfoyle is co-host of “The Five” on the Fox News Channel and a Fox News legal analyst. Prior to her broadcasting career, she served as an assistant district attorney at the San Francisco and Los Angeles District Attorney’s Offices.

FOX has been and is doing a great job in reporting the TRUTH about butcher Kermit Gosnell.
Most of the other major networks are hiding the truth from the public.
That is true Anony…FOX is doing a really great job. CNN (I call it the Clinton News Network, haha) tried but they were awful, they missed an element of being human and honest. Bravo To FOX! We pray for more good honest media….
Abeca, I am usually impressed with your comments on this site, even when I don’t agree with them. You try, in my opinion, to give your point of view in a balanced and fair way. I just could not resist your idea that Fox is a good network. They have more talking heads who don’t agree with the American way of life or its basic values. They are too one sided for me. They are to the right what MSNBC is to the left. Neither of them speak to the middle or to the majority of Americans. Maybe we should get a new network that reports both sides of the issue. Maybe even better than the News Hour.
Yep, Bob One, with such perfect reason, how can anyone disagree with you?
What you do not like Bob One is that Fox does not bow to Obama and this administration, a moderate is someone who can’t make up his mind on an issue
Hey Bob One NO OTHER NETWORK covered this story…..NONE…and I challenge your quote “They have more talking heads who don’t agree with the American way of life or its basic values. ” Name 3
Deliberation should only take one minute or less yet they are still deliberating. Why? Baby parts found in jars and those who have witnessed babies being born alive and then spinal cords cut? If this horrific murder doesn’t get the conviction then what does? Are people so blind to the lies of the “pro- choice” that they will defend murder at all costs? May God have mercy on their souls. We treat aninals better. Where is PETA? Where is ACLU? SILENT in defense of Satan???
respectlife I love your outrage that you speak here…God bless you…I pray for more to show an outrage. You are correct why are they deliberating too long? Even 10 minutes is too long, for this this should be easy, they should say Guilty!
Where are the Feminists? NOW? Women need protecting from these massacres but we only hear silence. The true colors of liberal women are very apparent.
I think there are many counts against this man and the jury has t0 sort trough them all individually.
respectlife,
Can you imagine the leftwing outcry if the jury did not take time deliberating? I am glad they are doing so as long as they in the light of all the evidence come out with the right decision!
God bless, yours in Their Hearts,
Kenneth M. Fisher
Where did Guilfoyle go to school? One might have guessed that between the former married couple of Guilfoyle and Newsom, she might have been the one to succumb to feminism, rather than Newsom. That is, unless one knew that Newsom went to Santa Clara. With than knowledge, then Newsom’s proclivities become pretty predictable.
The Newsom’s have been divorved for years. Get your facts straight. Kimberly Guilfoyle is nothing like her pro choice ex.
How did I not get my facts straight? I referenced the fact that they were once married (regardless of how far in the past). My point was precisely that Gilfoyle could not be more divergent from her ex on the abortion issue. In light of this, I wondered where she went to school (and her pro-life position survived). On the other hand, Newsom’s pro-abortion position might well be expected considering where he went to school (Santa Clara). It was a simple observation. There really was nothing unclear about the previous post. Perhaps you should read more carefully next time before popping off.
Rambler, your first post was not very clear. Your second is clear despite your request that people spend an hour trying to decipher your posts.
Now I see why she dumped Gavin. She’s a strong woman who isn’t afraid to say what is right or wrong. He is a spineless politician, just part of a man.
If only more would be obedient to our Lord and His natural law. Abortion is so unnatural, it’s DE-humanizing.
‘If you correspond to the designs of God, He will make a saint of you.’~~~St. Paul of the Cross
” … He will make a saint of you”: That’s the scary part.
The mainstream media is all but ignoring the Gosnell trial. Last week the NARAL president had the audacity to blame the Gosnell crimes on pro life activits who are “trying to shut down clinics and drive down care”. While the Life representative was not as articulate or informed, for NARAL to blame the life movement for infanticide is over the top.
Thank you and God bless you Kimberly Guilfoyle for heroically speaking out for these most innocent and helpless victims. Don’t worry Kimberly, not everyone will view you unfairly for thinking that Gavin Newsom’s soul was also worth saving from himself. You tried. Your continued good example may influence him one day. The difference in this case is Gavin Newsom was given the gift of life and he chose with his own free will to betray God and many moral values whereas these babies are denied the gift of the basic right to life. These babies are defenseless and helpless. It takes great courage and conviction to sit next to the steel cold stares of women and men in these newsrooms who have already chosen to murder their own precious children and who also are known for taking their revengeful guilt out on anyone who dare remind them that what they did was selfish and cruel. These are cold hearted women and spineless men who rationalize their own murderous actions in order to salve one another’s glazed conscience in honor and protection of their diabolical and unholy rite of abortion.
This unspeakable Gosnell horror story is not an isolated incident either. Our nation’s hearts have become so hardened. This heartless degree of cold indifference is epidemic and the majority of the media has quickly dismissed this story because it exposes the true horror of abortion. A nation that continues to look the other way, (especially when they learn that helpless babies who are born alive and swimming to escape death in a toilet have their throats slashed and spinal cords cut ) is dooming itself to face a much greater horror for it’s cold and heartless indifference. Kimberly Guilfoyle is one of the rarities in the media who proves that true interior beauty is much more than skin deep facades of feigned loveliness.
Sweeet,Catherine, and so true.
Thank you dear sister in Christ!
No wonder that jerk Newsom aborted, oops divorced her!
God bless, yours in Their Hearts,
Kenneth M. Fisher
That was a needless comment, and it was not at all amusing – very poor taste for such a tragic topic. Why don’t you spend more time praying and going to a Eucharist Adoration chapel instead of making so many unnecessary comments – Jesus will judge us on how well we used our time while here on earth.
Anne L I know it sounded bad but if you knew Mr. Fisher…You will know that he does use his time well…he spends hours praying at abortion sites, defends the faith, I believe he was once arrested for defending life (I don’t recall now sorry Mr. Fisher), he is a gentleman etc etc….please forgive him, if you only knew his heart and his hard work for the pro-life cause, I would think that you may have given him the benefit of the doubt and over looked this comment.
Plus sometimes I use the word jerk too, I’m guilty of that too so before I judged his comment I looked in the mirror and stopped myself before I came on him hard. Plus he didn’t really say anything that was untrue? Right? Sometimes people divorce people for foolish or sinful reasons….they say that divorce is like a death, it feels horrible. Abortion is death too….You probably just didn’t like how he delivered his distaste for Newsom’s choices right?
Anne Lopez, how about calling Newsom a “son of the devil” or “his father is the father of lies”, or “his father was a murderer from the beginning”, which are phrases used by Jesus according to the Gospels; have you ever read the Gospels, or do you consider them beneath your dignity? How about paraphrasing it to “Newsom is scum” and shares bath towels with the devil?
Hopefully, the jury and judge decide to hang Gosnell at noon on a sunday in the the city’s best park.
