The following comes from a March 22 item on Christian Newswire.
Evangelist, blogger, and radio show host Tony Miano will lead an effort to create public awareness of an abortion clinic that may murder as many as 50 babies a day.
According to Miano, “I’ve stood outside the Mission Hills Family Planning Associates abortion clinic almost every Tuesday morning, for nine months. When I asked one clinic worker how many babies would die that day, she smiled and shouted, ’50!'”
The abortion clinic, located at 10200 Sepulveda Boulevard Mission Hills, CA, is in an office building managed by the Moss Group. “I have dealt with two representatives of the Moss Group, one who identified himself as a senior property manager, while standing outside the clinic. Neither went well.” Miano said. “In fact, the senior property manager became so irate and unprofessional; he hurled expletives my way as he was entering the building.”
What will make this effort different from other pro-life abortion clinic protests is that as many as 50 abortion abolitionists, one for each of the estimated 50 children murdered in a day at the clinic, will surround the building holding signs that read: “Babies Are Murdered Here.” Specific people in the group will be designated to plead and preach, while others will engage women seeking abortions in conversation.
“The reason for the signs is two-fold.” Miano said. “It’s time the pro-life movement starts calling abortion what it is — murder. And it’s time the men and women who participate in the murder of unborn children are brought to the knowledge of their sin against God. They are murderers.”
According to Miano, the other reason for the signs is to promote a soon-to-be released documentary titled Babies Are Murdered Here, produced by Crown Rights Media. The documentary takes a candid and provocative look at the effort to abolish abortion from the perspective of the men and women who minister on sidewalks outside abortion clinics.
“Our primary goal,” Miano said, “is to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone associated with the abortion industry, from the women having abortions to the people working inside the clinics. We don’t want anyone to perish in their sin. But we must stop showing deference to the feelings of women who are murdering their children. Yes, we must speak the truth in love, but it must be the whole truth.”
The “Babies Are Murdered Here” effort is scheduled for Saturday, March 23, 2013.

I’ll be there! It’s high time that pro-lifers bring back some of the BLUNT LANGUAGE used earlier when ROE V WADE was just passed. “BABIES ARE MURDERED HERE” tells the real deal of what’s happening @ these houses of mass killings. Why equivocate? As long as there are going to be trained counselors to help turn away those women who seek to snuff the lives of their innocent children @ these “clinics,” I say LET THE BRUTAL TRUTH OF WHAT GOES ON INSIDE THERE BE ELUCIDATED. Maybe that way, MORE lives will be saved. Hope to see you there. GOD BLESS ALL, MARKRITE
Sounds like an effective plan.
With the word “abolitionist” used, I wonder if Mr. Miano is affiliated with the “Abolish Human Abortion” organization, the group that was very prominent at the San Francisco Walk for Life, much to the displeasure of some “walkers” who do not like the reality of the “dirty pictures” of cut-up babies’ bodies and the like. Check out “abolishhumanabortion(dot)com to see what getting real means in the war against baby-killing.
I like their techniques!
This article interests me for a couple of reasons. First, it’s published in a Catholic forum, and I am not only Catholic, but the 40 Days for Life coordinator for this particular location. The picture featured is mine, and of my 40DFL participants at FPA/Mission Hills, CA, not one of the pictures featuring the misguided efforts of ‘Tony.’ As 40 Days for Life participants for the past 6 years, we have experienced tremendous success with our peaceful & prayerful presence in front of this abortion facility. Because of the area, most participants are Catholic. Yesterday, as we were praying Fr. Pavone’s pro-life rosary, Tony stood behind us and loudly began an anti-Catholic tirade against us, which was actually filmed by one of his cohorts and is currently on youtube, slamming the “Idolatry of Catholic Pro-Lifers!” His loud, abusive, obnoxious tactics during the past few months have set us back years, as we have worked very hard to win hearts thru the love of Christ. Our ‘save’ rate has reduced tremendously since he started showing up. Just imagine this…if you were a scared, abused or threatened young woman being forced to have an abortion, would you be more likely to speak with someone who truly cared about you, or someone who was screaming at you about going to hell? His screaming at people just makes them run into the building instead of walking and listening…please consider this with your heart. For Life! Patti
I don’t know what to make of this. I searched youtube for a video with the title “Idolatry of Catholic Pro-Lifers”, but could not find it. I also looked under “Tony Miano”, and found many videos submitted by this “street preacher”. Is more information available on this subject?
I don’t know what to think. Because of a scheduling conflict, I personally was unable to attend the rally on Saturday last, so I have to take Patti Flores at her word. Certainly no-one wants to alienate the poor women who are so mistakenly going to this place in Mission Hills to “alleviate” their problem pregnancy, and wind up with a Fred Phelps type who wants to reduce the women to nothing more than “murderers,” and then wierdly tries to implicate the Catholic Church through an anti-Catholic tirade. Who needs “friends” of the unborn like this chap, if true?
And yet I hope that Patti Flores is not one of those pro-lifers who routinely disparage the attempts of, say, Operation Rescue, who use LARGE TRUCKS plastered with photos of dismembered unborn innocents to REALISTICALLY show what REALLY GOES ON in abortion clinics to the clueless unwashed masses of the U.S. who are so braindead in so many ways to the reality of the holocaust ongoing in these United States, to the tune of over 3,000 killed a day? Being a coordinator of FDL, I would certainly hope not.
Having said that, I do agree, if all is true as she writes of last Saturday, that Tony Miano needs prayers said for him that he’ll see the light. GOD BLESS ALL, MARKRITE
