Large retailers that sell toys, clothes and other children’s items in California would have to devote floor space to merchandise marketed to both boys and girls under a new bill.
Stores would be able to sell the same products they do now as long as they maintain some areas where shoppers can find all toys or clothes, regardless of gender-based marketing, under CA AB2826 (19R) from Assemblyman Evan Low (D-Campbell). It would apply to department stores with 500 or more employees beginning in 2023.
Low, chair of the Legislative LGBT Caucus, said he wants to make the shopping experience more inclusive for children. He said the idea came from one of his staffers, whose young daughter had asked why certain items she wanted were in an area designated for boys.
“This is an issue of children being able to express themselves without bias,” Low said in an interview Friday.

Evan Low is our Assemblyman. Please pray for this gender-confused man. Local Christians pray for him and, to his credit, Low was willing to meet with some local evangelical leaders and discuss their concerns about religious liberty. As is apparent, he leans totalitarian left and wants the state to regulate marketing of private property.
Ridiculous! Totally unnecessary! When I was a child, if a little girl wanted something like a little red wagon, or a baseball and bat, or a science-related toy, or a kit to build an airplane or a rocket ship — or even for Western Day, if she needed a pair of jeans (they sold only boys’ jeans, in those days!)– her mom can kindly ask a sales clerk for the desired item! So what??
If a mom has a little ten-year-old boy, who asks for a baby doll and carriage, or a Barbie doll, or a little girl’s lipstick, perfume, purse, necklace and earrings, or manicure set, or a “princess” dress, or a little girl’s pink ballerina outfit, to play “dress up”– I think the mom needs to have a serious talk with her husband; perhaps the little boy may have psychological problems— and may not be developing right!
Is it wrong for a girl to have a Ken doll? Is it wrong for a girl to have an action figure? Can a girl dress up as Batman? Do they need psychological help?
Boys and girls may play with the same toys. However, their genders are ordained by God to be completely different, in development! As a little boy grows, if he should suddenly display abnormal behavior– such as playing “dress-up” in Mommy’s clothes, and wearing Mommy’s lipstick and perfume– yes, something is very abnormal with their development, as a boy! As a parent, you will be worried!
Merchants should always be free to market their products how they wish, for the particular group they think would want to buy their products! Merchants should never be told how to arrange their stores, and who to sell their merchandise to! Ridiculous! Anyone who is “different”(taller, shorter, fatter, skinnier, darker, lighter, etc.) than the norm, always has to gracefully make adjustments! “LGBTQ’s” need to grow up, put up with their differences– and learn to handle life realistically! You cannot twist our whole society, to suit sick “LGBTQ” demands!
Children’s stores that are too weird, that promote lots of gender-bending books and toys, along with sexually deviant material– and “unisex” transgender bathrooms and dressing rooms– are a HUGE danger to children! Pedophiles and dangerous criminals may “hang-out”
there, too!

taken to the next level in Cali – what’s new?
A new Low.
well, he certainly offers a new slant on toy marketing
Unfortunately, it looks like Evan Low is the overwhelming choice for representing our south bay assembly district for another two years. Let us continue to pray for his conversion and the conversion of all. Lord, have mercy.
