The following comes from a February 15 LiveAction News article by Calvin Freiberger:
Planned Parenthood’s decision to endorse Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders created quite the stir.
Despite some backlash from supporters, Planned Parenthood maintains that “Clinton pushes harder” for abortion, and that nominating Sanders would be passing up on a “first time in history” opportunity to “elect someone who’s been fighting to expand reproductive health and rights for decades to the White House, just when we need that kind of champion the most.”
Feminist luminaries Madeline Albright and Gloria Steinem even suggest “there’s a special place in hell” for women who don’t pick Hillary and that young women go to Sanders just to meet boys, respectively.
But don’t let the clear preference of abortionism’s leaders trick you into thinking Sanders is some moderate. The truth is, the socialist from Vermont is at least as forceful a defender of killing preborn babies as the former First Lady.
On his campaign website, Sanders makes a number of radical pro-abortion promises: that his every judicial nominee would not only uphold Roe v. Wade, but also “recognize the rights of women to have access to family planning services”—i.e., the courts would force private employers to cover potentially abortion-inducing drugs—and that he would force the American people to give even more of their tax dollars to abortion, Planned Parenthood, and abortifacient birth control, by “expand[ing], not cut[ting], funding for Planned Parenthood, the Title X family planning program, and other initiatives that protect women’s health, access to contraception, and the availability of a safe and legal abortion.”
His record as a congressman and then a senator back those pledges up. From 1993 all the way to 2014, Sanders’s positions and congressional voting records have always gotten 100% scores from both Planned Parenthood and NARAL. So for the better part of two decades, Sanders has voted for every expansion and protection of abortion to come his way, and opposed every attempt to restrict it, no matter how modest or commonsense.
OnTheIssues and the pro-Sanders website Feel the Bern helpfully rundown the highlights of his voting record, which includes his votes for partial-birth abortion, late-term abortion, taxpayer funding of abortion both here and internationally, taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers, taking minors across state lines to get abortions without their parents’ knowledge or consent, allowing and expanding the destruction of human embryos in stem-cell research, abortifacient emergency contraception on military bases, and federal funding for the United Nation Population Fund’s pro-abortion agenda.
Sanders was also a cosponsor of the 1993 Freedom of Choice Act and the 2013 Women’s Health Protection Act. The former would legislatively codify Roe into federal law by forbidding any state from restricting abortion pre-viability (and effectively post-viability via the infamous “health” exception); the latter would also do that, as well as federally eliminate and forbid virtually every state and local pro-life law in the country, including ultrasounds, waiting periods, admitting privileges, ambulatory transfer agreements, and webcam abortion bans.
Hillary Clinton won the PP “Margaret Sanger Award” in 2009 for her strong support for abortion.
Hillary did a lot of damage overseas in support of abortion when she was Sec of State.
You Catholics who vote for pro-abortion candidates need to rethink your bahavior. Imagine explaining your voting strategy to millions of aborted babies when they ask why you did not defend them at the voting booth. Does a candidate’s position on any issue hold more weight than life itself?
For any Catholics who vote for a pro-abortion candidate: You are in a state of mortal sin, and must get to confession as soon as possible. As penance, you must change your voter registration to a political party that opposes the murder of the unborn.
That is not true. The Vatican has clearly said several times that it is permissible for a catholic to vote for a pro-abortion candidate so long as that is not the purpose of one’s vote.
Only if there is no better alternate. Without the right to life, no other rights even matter because one will not be here to enjoy them, and one does not have to vote for either candidate, or one can put in a “write in” if it is allowed.

Well, it could be argued that a write-in is tantamount to not voting, and not voting is not morally permissable either.
I suggest the Priests for Life website. They have the correct information on what is the most important to consider when voting, and the right to life is first and foremost.
Sanders is a stiff necked Bolshevik why is any surprised… He didn’t hold a job until he was 40, before that he lived off welfare..
I am afraid this nation will not survive much longer and hope I am long gone before its fall. It was bad enough when Ted Kennedy was throwing stones at Clarence Thomas, but now they are arguing over who does a better job at making it easier to kill unborn children. How low can a nation sink? Not much further, not much further. Not much further indeed. God help us all.
Any dirty old man would get on board with Planned Parenthood, which enables teen sex, sex trafficking, incest, porn, and S&M. But Republicans are “obsessed with sex.” Riiiigt.
Bernie Sanders a Bum Who Didn’t Earn His First Steady Paycheck Until Age 40 Then Wormed His Way Into Politics

What a shock.
Bernie Sanders was a bum who didn’t earn a steady paycheck until he was 40 years old. He was a slob who lived in a shack with a dirt floor. He later wrote about masturbation and rape for left-wing rags for $50 a story. The Socialist then wormed his way into politics.
And today he’s running for president so he can take your money and redistribute it.
There’s a lot to be said here on this particular post, but a related question, which CCD has from time to time entertained, is that of the HPV Vaccine. Most posters here oppose the HPV vaccine, claiming that it will cause more sex among the unmarried. But the evidence suggests otherwise: The vaccine saves lives and does not encourage new sexual behaviors.

For you YFC sex is an end in itself, you take what is fertile and make it sterile..
Canisius, God bless you. May you find peace and may the Lord shower you with blessings.
