The following comes from a December 19 email from Helpers of God’s Precious Infants San Diego:
Dear Pro-life Friends,
On December 19th, the Saturday before Christmas, is was unusually busy early in the morning. There were about 6 yellow-shirt escorts, all of whom were busy trying to disrupt the counselors from talking to the couples coming in.
At about 9:30 in the morning, a car pulled up to the front of the clinic with a young couple inside. A sidewalk counselor was able to talk to the young man (who was probably the age of 19) amidst the noise and interruptions of the yellow-shirts who took the couple upstairs. However the young man was very intent on listening, especially when he found out about the danger of the doctor. The two of them looked very timid and scared. While inside the elevator and just before going up, the counselor told them not to be afraid to leave and ask for help, because the place up there is a place of death. The counselor also reminded them of other options. The fact that they listened and made eye contact was a good sign, but the counselors kept praying.
About 20 minutes later, the young man came out and a different counselor approached him, this time telling him he could go to the Pregnancy Resource Center next door.
Soon after (about 10 minutes), the young couple left and headed over to Turning Point Pregnancy Resource Center.
Another 20 minutes passed by and the young man came down to move his car. A third counselor approached him this time, and found out that his girlfriend was 2 months along and was going to keep the baby. He told the counselor that he knew it was going to be difficult, but that his decision was final.
Please pray for this courageous couple, that they will continue on this path of love and freedom for their child. It was a beautiful blessing for Christmas!
It sounds as if King Herod got outsmarted once again. Abortion is always dangerous, for the mother and especially for the child.
