Dear Pro-life friends,

40 Days for Life is perhaps the most attended pro-life event at the parish level in the country. It is an opportunity for everyone in the pews to take a stand for life.

It is simple: come out to peacefully pray in front of one of the 41 abortion centers in California where 40 Days for Life has a campaign starting this week.  Pray for the women going in, that they have a change of heart…  Pray for the protection of the unborn babies…  Pray that the abortion center will close….  Pray for the conversion of the abortion workers…  Be there to pray for the innocent unborn who will have their life taken, so they won’t have to die alone… These are just some of the causes you can pray for while spending an hour in front of the abortion center.  Check for details at the website for the 40 Days for Life campaign nearest you.

Sept. 26 – Candlelight Rosary Procession to open the Fall campaign for 40 Days for Life San Diego. Meet on Tuesday, Sept. 26th at 6:15 pm at the corner of Carroll Road and Kenamar Drive. One of the priests from St. Anne Catholic Church will give a short talk and lead the Rosary procession to the sidewalk in front of Family Planning Associates, at 7340 Miramar Road. Please pray that this clinic will close. Their lease is coming up for renewal or termination sometime between October and February. The former abortionist who was at this location for many years is surrendering his medical license by the end of this year, and FPA has not found a local replacement. They are still using an abortionist from the L.A. area who drives down once a week.

Sept. 27 through Nov. 5 – 40 Days for Life, a continuous prayer vigil for 40 days in front of abortion centers. This is a peaceful, legal event that is occurring at the same time in hundreds of cities throughout the world, including 41 locations in California. More than 13,000 babies have been saved during 40 Days for Life since it started in 2007. Links to the locations are below.
