The following is the text of a full-page ad which ran on Sunday, June 3 in the Imperial Valley Press.Danny Ramirez is a pro-life Democrat running for the 51st Congressional seat now held by pro-abortion Bob Filner, who has left the seat to run for mayor of San Diego. Denise Ducheny and Juan Vargas are strong pro-abortion contenders for the seat. Vargas emphasizes the fact that he was once a Jesuit seminarian. Since Danny has challenged the use of Vargas photos in a Roman collar, those photos have disappeared from the Vargas website.

Representative Bart Stupak was the anti-Abortion Democrat that delivered the crucial final votes for Obamacare. And what did we get? Federal Abortifacients, contraceptives and sterilizations in every home. For freeee! And $500,000,000 or more in Federal Funding for Planned Parenthood I used to be Democrat, but now I think there are no good Democrats, at least in California.

Has Filner endorsed Vargas or Ducheny? Typically he has abandoned his job representing the 51st District to “go for the gold” as Mayor of San Diego. I pray he is defeated in all ways for that! As for Vargas, will he stoop at nothing to gain what he wants? Posing in a roman collar, and posting that so that he is percieved as, what? a pro-life/family man? Give me a break! I hope Mr. Ramirez is what he says he is, for the sake of the 51st District. Was this ad run in Spanish? I hope so.

Ducheny and Vargas are indeed “no friends” of families. How despicable that these individuals were ever elected here in California. I can see why Planned Parenthood is happy with them. They are on the side of sex, sex, any kind of sex – even for kids. I don’t think this is what Latino families really want for their children. ….. The fact that Vargas took down the photo of himself in a Roman collar shows that he knows he was completely dishonest in playing the “priest card”. His trading on the respect that Latinos have for priests is disgusting!

Re Vargas voting for the homosex education bill SB 48: Vargas has two daughters. Has he opted out of this education for them (is that even possible?) or do they get to learn about the wonders of lesbianism in school? Does Mrs. Vargas agree with this?
